A partner in Southbourne Internet Ltd >> a new media agency otherwise known as SoNet that are based in Bournemouth, UK.
SoNet provide several services including web design and development, e-commerce solutions and search engine marketing. The more recent websites that Southbourne Internet has developed from scratch validate to web standards (W3C).

These are a few of the services we offer. My core function with So-Net is to author the projects that come to us; these can range from full scale portals to small business websites. I create and develop the solutions for our clients that range from the small high street company to government organisation and blue-chip companies.
My other core service is to oversee the search engine marketing and optimisation of our clients’ websites.
Southbourne Internet a long time ago developed a policy of working with various industry professionals. One of the reasons we did not want a permanent static team is that we learnt by experience that every project is different and should be dealt with appropriately. This means that a client will never be landed with the same designer that may or may not have an individual style. We felt that the majority of web development companies do just this and as we all know styles can go stale quite quickly.
To this end we use the most appropriate person for the job and work with designer and developers from a large array of disciplines, this gives us a lot of flexibility in our work and a stronger creative edge above our competitors.
The company however does carry a static staff including Alan Hill a long time denizen of the web industry who brings to Southbourne Internet years and years of web development experience. Alan is also a partner in the company. We have Lynn who deals with administration and looking after the clients and Ed who is on board a lot to deal with validation and accessibility issues for our site builds. All in all a tight knit team of industry professionals. Recently we started working with Paul Arlott of Tolra Micro Systems to enhance specific projects in mapping an dother applications, there is also Cindy Prosser from Attitude e-Media who is a first class coder and she brings many years of experience in back-end coding to the table.
Well that’s enough about us for the meantime; this blog is mainly to talk about current projects and a few other musings about Internet life in general.
