Finalizing Live Dates

Auto Date Monday, June 11th, 2007

The last two months on the Search and Go project have seen Sonet Web and other developers extremely busy as we head towards the first real live prototype date. It appears that it will be going live in the summer of 2007. I know this sounds a little vague, but we can’t quite pin down the date yet. Most services are ready and will replace the existing beta pages in the coming weeks with the new design, finished home page (finally), and other services such as travel, product launch, profiles, news and MyJournal which is a full blogging system for business owners and individuals to communicate with each other. Were quite excited about this and a lot of work has gone into development of the journal system that utilizes Wordpress MU and our own applications.

The point of MyJournal is not just to add another blogging area to a saturated market, but mroe to create a social network for businesses and individuals to communicate with each other. Meaning businesses can use MyJournal to talk about their products and talk directly to consumers and use it to display new products or describe their products and services in more detail using some really neat tools. MyJournal is not just aimed at businesses, also individuals who may in freelance or at home. The system will allow for a journal for each member that will feature free, premium and e-commerce enabled areas. It’s not just all work either, MyJournal can be sued for fun stuff and personal blogging.
