Case Study - Langtry Manor

Auto Date Sunday, November 13th, 2005

The Langtry Manor is one of the premiere luxury hotels in Bournemouth. Built by King Edward VII for his mistress Lillie Langtry it remains within its original architecture and houses the original art and furnishings. Besides preserving the original manor they have also added modern functionality such as WiFi hotspots, Jacuzzi baths and four poster beds.
When Southbourne Internet was originally called in to create an online solution for the Langtry Manor it had a website built using mainly flash technology and was getting nowhere fast within the major search engines. Over the last three years we have redesigned and built their search engine readiness up step-by-step.

I always find the best projects are the ones we work with on a long-term basis it gives us plenty of time to understand the clients market and what is needed. Fast SEO projects achieve quick results but nothing lasting and the client never gets the full potential of ongoing work. Full potential adds up to a better ROI and it’s continuous.

For the Langtry Manor work we created a long term solution that ranked each and every one of their pages to perform by subject, the results have been positive. We are about to re-design the Langtry Website to make it fully accessible and compliant to W3C standards and of course with no tables. The new design goes live in Q1 of 2006.
